This wine is a blend of 71?bernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot, 3?bernet Franc and 3% Malbec. The grapes originated from TOKARA’s premium vineyards on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain outside of Stellenbosch.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

93 | Vanilla, melted chocolate and raspberry/cassis, oak infused wine. Sweet fruit core, masses of supple ripe tannins. Has some elegance.

90 | oaky, smoky, gloopy fruit, good acidity, fresh tannic edge, spicy finish, nicely made, enjoy with food. soft herbal edge, quite pleasing.

90 | New oak cloaks the aroma and hard to see past? Brightly fruited on the palate though the bbq meaty note emerges on the palate. The finish is a little short.

97 | Perfectly ripe fruit with an overlay of savoury oak. Good mid palate fruit intensity. The tannins are balanced. Lovely, integrated, mouthwatering acidity. Poise and grace.
