The Lane Vineyard Provenance Gamay 2022

95 | VG colour, bright cherry-plum and spicy fruit, very clean and varietal. Medium bodied, fine tannins, lovely wine, an outstanding gamay.

88 | wild bush, spicy, simple, plucky, baked earth and simple spicy finish

93 | Ripe fruit and sweet oak. The fruit integrity is excellent but the vanilla oak tones are a little too strong. Snappy and bright on the close.

93 | Attractive wet stone, mineral edge. Very vibrant fresh fruit focussed aroma with a little twist of savoury complexity. Lavender and dried petal. Silky brightly fruited palate, quite silky and generous. Much joy here.
