Pinot Gris was first introduced into the United States from France by David Lett, who planted Pinot Gris in the North Willamette Valley at The Eyrie Vineyards. Founder Jim Bernau got his first cuttings of Pinot Gris as a result of David’s innovative work. Pinot Gris is now Oregon’s leading white variety.

87 | stonefruit , creamy, sake notes, Pronounced acidity

82 | Very well articulated green pear and granny smith apple aromas. Bright and clean, slightly smoky edge that detracts from the fruit expression.

88 | Delicate floral, apple pear aromas. Fresh acidity, crisp and dry with subtle green apple on the finish.

80 | Smoke taint? Pleasing freshness on the nose but lingering smoke on the palate.
