Van Biljon Wines Cinq 2018

The van Biljon vineyards and winery are situated in the Polkadraai region of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

This exquisite small boutique farm has been planted by the van Biljon family to all five classic Bordeaux varieties that are all utilised in the van Biljon Cinq blend – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

The fertile and well drained decomposed granite soils and moderate sea breezes together with meticulous viticultural practices yields fruit with intense colour, concentrated fruit flavours and firm tannins.

Renowned and highly awarded wine maker and viticulturist Chris Keet focuses on producing and meticulously crafting an exquisite red blend with a powerful structure and expressive fruit composition. Tannins are polished and silky , in perfect harmony with the fruit flavours leaving a lingering fruit finish.
