Ripe blackcurrant, blueberry and dark cherry aromas are evident on the nose with hints of pencil shavings and cigar box. The palate is rich and powerful, with intense blackcurrant and dark blackberry notes and a lingering finish of dried Italian herbs, cedar and tobacco leaf.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

86 | The palate is delicious. Medium weight and bright with a lovely flow. Though unfortunately. The raw wood aromas completely dominate the nose.

95 | Chocolate and roasted toasted oaky aromas, red fruit palate, bright and elegant, cool-grown and lively. Tannins are firm, taut and balanced. FB but not OTT.

93 | Still looks bright and primary. Cassis, black olive. Sweetly fruited, appealing dusting of tannins.

92 | red fruited, dusty, rocky, firm, tannic, balanced & mineral driven. The palate shows surprising focus and expands with time in the mouth; the wine grows on me and brings me back for more... nicely made
