This 2020 Pinot Noir ‘Winemakers Reserve’ showcases a select blend of clones that exhibit the best marriage of fruit, tannins and oak. Designed with better aging potential, this reserve has been matured in 68% New French oak, helping to elevate complexity and add a more nuanced character to the final wine.

92 | Not a lot of character on the entry. The palate is bold and expansive on the finish.

84 | Stewed fruit, oaky and overripe aromas. Old leather. Spiky acidity, unbalanced.

83 | What a contrast - this is baked, almost oxidised with a husk, coconut mat character. No joy here. Stewed meat.

87 | woody tree bark black tea bag, the more swirling in the glass, the wine releases an OX (oxidative) style of wine . more freshness is required to push my score higher.
