Grapes were hand harvest at 21, 6° Balling during the second week of February 2019. The tons were 1,7 per hectare. All grapes are from the Raats Eden High Density single vineyard block in Polkadraai, Stellenbosch.

2021 Global Fine Wine Challenge

88 | Light apple, pear and honey aromas. Balanced palate with good flavour concentration.

87 | Slightly toasty, waxy yellow apple aromas. Medium to full bodied, quite rich and phenolic. Slightly over-ripe.

93 | Sulphides on the nose. The palate is laden with sweet-fruit with accents of hessian and hay.A touch of beeswax and clotted cream. Layered and satisfying.

93 | Refined lemon curd honey, roasted chestnut notes. Well developed and full bodied but a touch oily with fine long acidity.
