“BLACK OPS” Deep ruby in colour with a layered bouquet of red berries, floral and savoury notes. Rich and opulent on the palate with dark cherry, plum and spice. Elegant yet mouth filling with an impressive purity and power. Very good ageing potential.

2021 Global Fine Wine Challenge

88 | strawberry slight tarry notes. Finishes chalky firm with al dente notes.

86 | The oak is too heavy for the fruit. It swamps the wine.

92 | Brooding baked black cherry aromas. Sweet fruited, with vanillin accents, slightly astringent tannins. Doesn't show the silky texture for which the variety is capable.

90 | Plum and ripe cherry aromas. Palate has fine tannins, moderate acidity, warm alcohol and a finish of ripe red and black fruits.
