As Cabernet Sauvignon pulls ahead in this vintage, notes of huckleberry crumble and vanilla take the lead. Opulent and dark, this wine smells of rose petal, cherry, ripe raspberry, tobacco leaf, and sage brush. Savory notes of iron mix with bright fruit undertones and vanilla bean, and follow with the minerality that is synonymous with Seven Hills Vineyard.

95 | Ripe mulberry accented by vanilla bean. The palate is deep, plush and stylish. The tannins are perfectly ripe. I love the composure of this wine.

95 | Fragrant cassis bouquet. Fresh, medium bodied with excellent intensity and plentiful-fine grained tannins. Long finish.

94 | Dark chocolate, dark cherry cedarwood aromas with liquorice notes. Supple, velvety wine with ample dark cherry liquorice, chinotto flavours fine looseknit tannins and well integrated savoury oak notes.
