Oakridge Wines 864 Henk Aqueduct Pinot Noir 2022

An outstanding pinot, refined and long, with a super-seductive texture. From a small parcel of MV6 in the Henk vineyard (Aqueduct Block), planted in 2008 in the red volcanic soils of Woori Yallock. Hand harvested and sorted before fermentation on skins for three weeks (approximately 20% whole bunches) and elevage in both 300L and 500L Frenck oak barrels (10% new). A very low cropping vintage, however the small yields have resulted in darker fruited, highly concentrated pinots.
