Wantirna Estate Amelia is made from grapes that are grown on a non irrigated, sustainable vineyard. The vines are 55 years old. The grapes are hand harvested in their varietal batches and fermented in open concrete and stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes 15 to 20 days with some post fermentation maceration. The wine is then aged in a mixture of new and old french barrels.

88 | Cola and spice on the nose.

99 | Black fruits, Cassis, cedar and menthol aromas. Elegant fine tannins and fresh acidity. great flavour concentration and length.

95 | Very overt minty, eucalypt nose. Big, powerful wine with immense concentration and weight. Ample blackberry fruit and eucalypt. Chewy tannins.

89 | Minty / eucalyptus characters are dominant. Fine grained tannins. Finish chocolaty form.
