The ‘Old Legend’ pays homage to the Barossa Grenache, allowing the natural style of this varietal to shine. Light yet vibrant in colour with pretty yet complex aromas and an elegant yet textural palate.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

95 | Bright, fresh colour, medium-deep, likewise the aromas fresh bright spicy, cherry/raspberry fruit, clean and lively, the tannins firm and balanced and the framework upright. A charming grenache.

92 | Brightly fruited, crisp on the nose with plenty of fresh raspberry fruit. Lovely silky tannins. But chunky alcohol gives slight astringency to the palate. Plenty of wine.

87 | firm mineral grip, dusty and rocky core of aromatics, the palate firms up and grips the gum line, Boozy finish, needs refinement

95 | Gorgeous rose water and fairy floss characters. Lighter in frame but jam packed with flavour. It is so good seeing lighter bodied wines with such fabulous intensity.
