This is a very deeply coloured and flavoursome wine as you would expect from a Malbec based wine. It displays rich plummy, jammy Gimblett Gravels fruit notes on the nose with complementary notes of tobacco and dried herbs. On the palate it is a medley of complex fruit flavours supported by a generous mouthfeel and age-worthy tannins.

95 | Very attractive violets and dusty leafy cassis aromas. FB, very firm and mouth-coating tannins, a really smart wine, albeit very firm for its dimensions.

90 | dusty pyrazines, firm tannic edge, layered, firm structure, will do better with food, good oak and earth integration, pencil lead, and mineral-driven finish. it grows on me...

93 | High toned, raspberry leaf tea. Red fruited. Crisp rather than bold. Hint of savoury oak. Despite high alcohol there is a lovely lift so that the palate looks in balance and not too hot. An appealing touch of tannin

95 | Fragrant, supple and red fruited. Medium weight and vibrant. I love the youthful energy.
