Donum Estate East Slope Single-Block Reserve Pinot Noir 2019

After five years out of production, it is a pleasure to bring back the East Slope Pinot Noir, once again sourced exclusively from Calera clone planted on eastern-facing slopes on our Carneros Estate property. The East Slope makes for a natural complement to our powerful West Slope, as the eastern aspect of these slopes captures the morning sun but is more shaded in the heat of the afternoon, resulting in a lighter style of wine. The Calera clone’s natural tendency to develop floral and blue fruit characteristics results in a wine of exceptional balance and beauty.
