The 2022 Rosé is very pale salmon in color, with a tinge of copper. Aromas of strawberry, watermelon, and gooseberry dominate, with a hint of green peppercorn. The palate is well structured, with cherry, strawberry, lime, and grapefruit pith flavors held together with good acidity. The finish leans almost salty, reflecting our Estate’s proximity to San Pablo Bay. Recommended drinking window is 2023-2024.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

93 | The acidity is very high. Tight and lemony. Taut.

86 | Attractive red fruited aroma. But palate is screechy and hard work - some savoury flavours but a faint boiled milk character detracts.

85 | Very pale coral pink; slightly stale nose, dull and oak tinged, palate is a bit sour. Very acidic.

93 | a touch open knit on the nose and subdued, but has bright acidity, the wine is comples layered fresh and brings me back for more, lovely!
