DAMA Wines Merlot 2018

96 | Plush with lovely flow. Graceful. It has aged well and is drinking nicely. I love the long, refined palate.

95 | Fusty/dried flowers, cork wood? Full bodied and rich, deep, concentrated, dense and the tannins are nicely measured and supple. Great depth of fruit lovely and plush.

89 | good balance of fruit and earth and oak, the wine is fresh ripe and balanced acids with balanced tannins

94 | Showing a pleasing degree of bottle development. Tannins still quite marked and drying and the alcohol just a little warm on the finish. But tannins ripe and generous.

3 | ripe merlot. berry. carries alcohol well.

2 | Spicy/earthy FB - big for a merlot. Drying chunky tannins, solid wine, if not all that charming.
