From a premier vineyard, this exhibits a semi opaque ruby -crimson color and intoxicating aromas of blackberries, black cherries, black plums, crushed black roses, purple lilac, mulberry, sweet pipe tobacco, sandalwood, sweet herbs, anise and spiced incense. The flavors, as well, are dramatic, with layers of thick black fruits that are infused with black licorice, Swiss chocolate, French roast and Mill Creek silty minerals.
