Hand harvested from blocks across the estate. Bright, perfumed red and blue fruit aromatics, typical of the Pisa subregion. The flavours carry through on the palate, matched with fine, silken tannins, derived from both fruit and careful oak use.

2021 Global Fine Wine Challenge

88 | Gentle, delicate aromas. Wafting ethereal red berry fruit. Soft fruits within a gently drying tannin frame. The tannin seems a little too strong for the fruit.

92 | Ripe cherry and strawberry with cedar smokey oak. Fine tannins and fresh acidity with concentrated flavours of cherry, plum and smokey oak.

90 | cherry stone, herb aromas. Generous cherry raspberry fruits, al dente bitter cola notes, Finishes chalky firm. Pronounced acidity.

93 | Restrained savoury dark cherry bouquet. Fresh, vibrant and savoury, slightly astringent green-edged tannins.
