Fruit sourced from the 1969 planted No.1 Cabernet Sauvignon, exclusively from the south west corner following a gravel band that crossed through the corner of the block. Blackcurrants, graphite, bay leaf, energy, purity, precision, youthful yet with fruit volume.

2022 Global Fine Wine Challenge

90 | Aromatic mulberry fruit. The palate is a little shrill and lacks density. Fineboned.

91 | Blackcurrant and ribena aromas with flinty notes. Fresh ripe dark berry fruits, fine cedary tannins and fresh long acidity, Crunchy and firm at the finish.

95 | Very lifted ripe cassis, mulberry aromas. Medium bodied, savoury, hint of chocolatey oak. Good freshness.
