Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon is Wynns’ flagship wine. First made in 1982, it is made in very small quantities from the best available fruit grown on the estate’s extensive Cabernet Sauvignon plantings in the heart of Coonawarra’s world-renowned Terra Rossa soil.

The 2020 John Riddoch was carefully selected from less than 1% of the best Cabernet plantings that Wynns farms. In 2020 it was all from the 1969 planted Childs vineyard which is in the V and A Lane area of Coonawarra. These are vines have been planted on their own roots – franc de pied.

Australian ‘First Growth’ Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon will launch on La Place de Bordeaux alongside the world’s finest wines, for the fourth time in September. In 2020 the iconic Australian wine made history when it became one of the first Australian wines to launch through La Place de Bordeaux.
