This wine is a single vineyard expression of the Taylors Pass site, showcasing an intense bouquet of ripe juicy blackberries and blueberries with hints of baking spices. A harmonious palate delivers some liquorice notes intermingled with black cherries, subtle dried herbs and finishes with round velvety smooth tannins.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

95 | Opulent pinot aromas; plenty of red cherry, plum. Some forest floor, button mushroom. Touch of smoky reduction. Generously fruited. Lovely rose petal. Silky ripe tannins.

95 | VG colour; complex fivespice and smoky cherry aromas; lots of oak; a fuller bodied and more extractive wine, with abundant drying tannins underpinned by lively acidity. Bigger brawnier style, but good.

90 | oak and hints of reduction, sulfur, and spices, good action on the palate--the wine is fresh and lively with a long spicy finish. decanting is recommended
