Complex and stylish, with aromas of blackcurrant leaf and coffee bean which progresses into a palate that’s structured and racy with hints of leather, dark chocolate and sweet blackberry. The firm tannins yield a gripping mouthfeel from the first sip through to the long lingering finish.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

87 | Leafy tobacco and cedar, humus, cigarbox; lacks a little in vibrant fruit/ripeness. Tannins are a bit edgy too.

94 | Elegance and graceful with ripe, pure fruits. But unfortunately the caramel/cherry oak grows with time and dominates the wine.

92 | Moderately intense on the nose, with a faint blue cheese rind note detracting. Sweetly fruited then big bold tannins step in creating a fairly tough chewy palate.

92 | black fruited, spicy fresh herbs and spiced plums, hint of savory and oak tones. The wine is fresh, complex, and food-friendly. firm tannic edge -nicely done ---spicy, boozy herbal and firm finish
