This Pinot Noir possesses a complex and attractive spectrum of aromas of red fruits, liquorice, violets, fresh tobacco, and musk. The palate displays classic Pinot Noir characters of cherry, cola, and cranberry with a layers of five spice, cinnamon, and aniseed.

???The new oak provides some subtle coffee and mocha notes. The primary fruit is enveloped by fine, chalky tannins.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

95 | A bold wine with an expansive palate. A bunchy style that has great palate breadth and depth. Good. A touch syrupy. Good though.

97 | Smoky raspberry/red-cherry and charcuterie; toasty oak? Big wine, sweet fruit centre and then drying tannins. Lots of body. Concentrated and ripe.

96 | Really lovely aroma. Strong red fruits, some cinnamon whole bunch. Smoky oak + reduction. Complex and intriguing. Just tremendous - a bigger framed pinot but plenty of appeal.

90 | reduction, nice balance of oak earth spice and fruit. the palate is quite ripe and ends with a boozy finish. decanting recommended here
