This wine displays beautiful aromatics of black currant and ripe raspberry. Airing reveals nuances of allspice and wild sage. High acidity and medium body with luscious flavors of black cherry, ripe raspberry, and black currant, complemented by savory notes of allspice, soft smoky oak, and wild sage.

Finishes of fine tannins and black currant round out each indulgent sip!

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

88 | Caramel oak tones and a taut palate. The wine finishes with oak flavours. Hard to see the fruit.

84 | Sawn timber aroma, good colour. Unattractive chippy oak. Very drying swingeingly grippy tannins too. Poor oak treatment.

87 | Looks surprisingly youthful. Plenty of bright red and black fruit. But a smoky reductive note detracts and the tannins are pretty marked. Gives an ungainly quality to the palate.

87 | very rustic, rocky and mineral driven, baked cherries and sour plums, firm tanninc edge, long spicy finish but the aftertaste is slightly stewy and tomato-esque
