Drawing from the savoir-faire of six generations of winemaking in Bordeaux, CHÂTEAU is the expression of a vintage. Created without the constraints of imitating Left Bank or Right Bank style, this wine is blended to showcase the character of the growing season. Complexity, subtlety, and elegance are privileged over outright power and concentration, but this remains and bold and age-worthy wine. Unfined and unfiltered, this wine was bottled in August 2020. From 17 barrels, 410 cases were produced.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

86 | WIldly spicy. Bracken characters. A hint of leather. Burnt rubber. The fruit is lively, The finish is rubbery and distinctly charry/earthy.

90 | Sweaty, raspberry aromas, lean-ish, edgy, pleasant flavour if a bit firm and there is a faint hint of sulfide.

87 | leathery funky old rustic cellar, the leather ruins it for me as it dominates the mid-palate and finish. But otherwise had a good structure

92 | Lovely gentle maturing aroma. Some forest floor, earthy notes. BBQ meats.
