94 | Quite pungent and assertive with a mix of white stone fruit and lemon. I like the length of palate. Lingering preserved lemon flavours.
84 | Oxidative. Barrelled? Brown apple. Short and lacks freshness & fruit intensity.
90 | Some cheese rind notes. Smoke. As though someone has tried to make a more complex SB but ended up with a slightly unfocussed wine.
89 | marzipan, nutty and textural but I have to stretch to see the varietal purity, tight mineral tension. it's a cerebral wine that excites my Somm brain, but the winemaking covers much of the varietal purity.
