There is a deep garnet colour, and the nose a rich with cooked strawberries and stewed cranberry. On the palate it cooked plum and baking spice, along with bright acidity to compliment the sweetness of the dessert wine.

Harvested at 38 degree brix, this wine was slowly pressed over night to extract the concentrated juice. Wine was aged in a combination of neutral oak and stainless steel.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

92 | Very pale tawny. lots of red berry fruit. sweet, intense. Has a faint green, grippy almost tannic edge. .

85 | Medium tawny brown colour; malty nose, possibly a tad oxidised? Lax freshness. Like oxidised plum juice.

87 | Cranberry and redcurrant with a touch of sorrel. Boiled sugar flavours. The sweetness is a little cloying.

88 | maple and spiced apple cider, Christmas spice, sweet and spicy finish
