The nose is floral and expressively perfumed with rose petal and violets overlaying a lattice of dense mixed berry fruit, Black Doris plum, and toasted brown spice interwoven with an intriguing whole bunch derived herbaceous lift. The palate is taut and powerful with powdery fine tannins up front lending a sinewy elegance. A fine streak of acidity offers a lively backdrop to the red and blue berry fruit core, presenting a wine that is both powerful and dense but beautifully light on it’s feet.

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

95 | Pure red fruits but also a touch of hair oil. A soft, silky palate. Bunchy. Creamy spicy oak. Sweetly fruited. Super attractive. Nice twist of tannin on the finish.

91 | Smoky reduction. Touch of phenolic bitterness on fore-palate.

89 | leafy, tannic firm mineral cherried and notes of graphite, the wines is slightly boozy, but fresh and ready for consumption

96 | The palate is bold and structural with fleshy fruit and stalky accents. The wine is assertive on the close with a distinct peacocks tail.
