Holden Manz Wine Estate is known as Franschhoek’s Hidden Gem. This family owned boutique winery produces around 120,000 bottles per annum of red, white and rosé wines. The Estate includes a five star country house and spa, restaurant, function venue, tasting centre and state of the art winey. Cellarmaster, Frenchman Thierry Haberer, collaborated for many years with Michel Rolland ensuring that the estate’s focus on Bordeaux varietals results in multi award winning wines.

91 | Intense plush fruit with faint smoky tones.

90 | Mellowing tobacco, cedar and raspberry. Grippy tannins, slightly bitter. over extracted.

87 | hints of ox, oak, hit of tomato paste and stewed cherries hot rocks and tannic edge ---fresher is better

93 | Milk chocolate and fruit cake. Sweet fruit. gentle savoury tannins. A big soft wine that could almost be a little soupy but a degree of frshness saves the day
