2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

87 | Dominant sawn timber aroma. Touch of funk. Chewy.

87 | savory meaty acidic, softer midpalate, the wine shrinks over the finish, hints of synthetic sensation on the aftertaste.

95 | Buttoned down, tight aroma; crisp back fruits with some exotic anise and liquorice notes. Very appealing syrah characters. Acid + tannin give structure. Not a powerful wine but lovely cooler climate notes.

92 | Taut and spicy with lemon, red currant and rhubarb notes. I wanted a touch more palate weight. Snappy. Good though.
