Eldorado Road Cellar Door Cantina Riserva Nero d’Avola 2021

89 | good balance, bright acidity, healthy, fresh and bright. hints of Volatility, acid-driven finish.

83 | Dried orange peel and cranberry aromas. There is a strong old wood character. I like the fruit but the stale wood character overrides everything.

90 | Great colour; dried cherry & dried banana, a big bold and bouncy nero, with ample fine/supple tannins and long fruit flavour. A slight off note? Not complex as yet but lovely and has potential.

92 | Plenty of black fruits. Slightly rustic edge - smells like dusty old cupboard that hasn't been opened for ages. Palate is bright and breezy, lots of fruit and smattering of grippy tannin to add texture. Not the most complex wine but has plenty of charm.
