This wine exhibits a bright ruby colour. The nose initially shows flavours of fresh raspberries and ripe red fruit. Undertones of darker fruit elements follow, including aromas of plums and dried dates. The palate is multi- layered, showcasing intense red fruit, mulberry and cigar flavours. This combines with the classic spice and savoury character associated with Eagles’ Nest, and its unique terroir. The tannins are delicate and fine grained, leading to fantastic intensity and length on the finish.

92 | Violet, cassis, leafy and mocha notes. Soft tannin, moderate acidity in a ripe and generous style. Fruit showing some development.

95 | Evolved garnet hue. Fragrant bouquet of mocha, toast, blackberry jam. Fresh and bright, mid-weight offering plum fruit intensity, hint of red currant leafy freshness. Lovely balance.

96 | Fragrant plum cola mocha espresso aromas. Well developed velvety smooth wine with lovely fruit complexity and oak maturation notes.
