The fruit was hand harvested on the 27th/ 28th of March 202. Fruit was destemmed into stainless steel tanks with approximately 8?dedas whole bunch. Fermentation was carried out by indigenous yeasts and the wine was aged in French Oak barriques for 10 months, of which 31% was new oak. Dark garnet with purple hues.

Fragrant with violet, dark cherry, blackberry, dark plum, spice, tobacco leaf and some nice oak char with a touch of mint.

Dry with ripe black plum, cherry, dark chocolate and blackberry. Full bodied and concentrated and with ample silky fine tannins and a long ripe berry finish.

88 | Excellent colour: deep and bright red-purple. Blackberry to black cherry aromas, slight bitterness on grippy aftertaste. Chewy tannins, and coarse. Overripe?

93 | Bright colour. Deep concentrated aromas. A structured, savoury style of pinot. Plenty of tannin. Needs time

93 | I enjoy the expansive nature of the palate, without it being super fruity. Dried cherry, a touch of bitter herb. Endive. The bitterness is a touch too strong.

95 | fresh and firm with red tea and pomegranates, spiced orange rind. good tannic structure long spicy finish a touch tannic now but the fine-grained will allow this beauty to age for longer than a decade
