We harvest only the ripest, smallest, golden bunches for this wine. We foot-tread the bunches and the fruit is soaked on its stems and skins for 24 hours before pressing. We ferment this wine with natural yeast in large oak (French and Austrian) vessels and age on lees for eight months to soften phenolics and help build more generosity into the palate

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

90 | Spicy, trace of kero, palate dry and slightly grippy, the tannins dry off the finish in a big way.

96 | Pure and dainty with notes of white flowers and lemon zest. A tiny touch of honeysuckle. The palate has great intensity, with a crescendo of flavour on the finish. Powerful and weighty, while at the same time being fresh and energetic.

88 | fresh simple hints of OX and TDN, balanced mid palate easy finish plenty of citrus

91 | Nose a little shy but plenty of flavour. Ripe lemon, grapefruit. A riper, bigger framed style of riesling.
