ASHES & DIAMONDS’ Cabernet Franc is a naturally restrained, balanced wine with subtle power and aromatic finesse that comes from the volcanic clay and sandy loam soils of select vineyards in Napa Valley’s cooler south side (Los Carneros, Oak Knoll District and Yountville).

2023 Global Fine Wine Challenge

87 | dark and dusty, firm phenolic grip, the wine is starting to slip

95 | Crushed oatcakes. The palate has good flavour without being syrupy or over-sweet. Long. Quite savoury in its expression. The wine opens nicely to reveal beautiful fruit characters.

93 | Sweet ripe mulberry fruit, big wine, lashings of tannins, very drying finish and follow through. A massive franc with gripping tannins that dominate.

86 | Beginning to show some bottle aged notes. Gentle leafy, faint smoke. Maybe a little raisined / dried fruit too. Ever so slightly soupy and a little dried out on the finish
