Andrew Peller Estates Gray Monk Odyssey Pinot Gris 2021

Pinot Gris grapes were hand-picked from our Estate Vineyard (Block 8) from some of the oldest Pinot Gris vines in British Columbia (approximately 40 years old). The grapes were gently pressed and cool fermented. Twenty five percent of the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for pure fruit expression and the other seventy five percent was aged in new French oak barrels and a French oak foudre for four months, on lees. A partial malolactic fermentation was performed to soften the acidity and round out the mouthfeel. Limited production of cases.
