Viñedos Puertas is a family business founded by José Puertas Pons in 1950 . Coming from the town of Campo, located on the banks of the Ésera River, in a valley framed by the high peaks of Turbón and Cotiella, province of Huesca, Spain, he arrives in Chile with a unique vision of work, which with effort and dedication allowed to give I start the company. In its beginnings, the vineyard had 80 hectares of vineyards irrigated by waters from the majestic Cordillera de los Andes, a winery with a capacity of one million liters, located in Convento Viejo, in the heart of the Curicó Valley, which it called “ The miracle”. The main objective of the company was the sale of grapes, bulk wines and the maquila service, providing benefits to important wine companies in the country, creating employment and development in the adjacent areas.
