Two Vintners Grenache 2021

83 | Bracken. A little bilgy. Pond water. I find the reduction too strong in this wine. The palate is very savoury.

90 | Quite developed colour for 2021, and a bit fusty stale to sniff. An earthier style, lacking freshness. Solid and structured. Drying finish. Has its charms though.

85 | Baked/roasted red cherry, red plum. Vanilla spice. Huge hot palate. Alcohol knocks everything out of balance and offers no refreshment nor enjoyment.

90 | confectionary, powered cherry tartlets, baked clay, roasted cherries, firm mouthfeel boozy finish. it's loud and proud but still brings me back for another sip.
