MacLaren Aida Viognier 2022

A cool climate style of Viognier from Green Valley Russian River. The Dutton-Gregori vineyard benefits from the morning ocean fog to keep the vines cooler, which in turn allows a longer hang time with slower ripening. The fruit was harvested on August 30th and underwent native yeast primary and secondary fermentation in neutral french oak barrels. The wine spent 6 months in neutral french oak barrels before being racked and filtered prior to bottling. The wine is 13% alc. and exemplifies the pretty floral side of Viognier as well as the signature stone fruit.
