This Viognier is sourced from some of the oldest Viognier vines in the country, officially planted in 1982. There are three blocks across the vineyard with varying age. Only two barrels were produced.Fresh white nectarine delivers the weight and flavour, hints of lemon citrus bring an acid twist to drive the back palate and keep the weight in check. A chalky texture and some oak tannin from barrel maturation carrying the flavour to a long lingering finish.

Lemon blossom fragrance, hint of apricot kernel. Round and creamy, very fresh lemony acidity. Restrained early-picked style.

Heady fruit. A strong oak overlay. Hints of lemon curd, white nectarine.
