The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙

The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 results are out in both digital downloadable PDF as well as our full colour publication. 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 won Nation of Show and collected 6 trophies in the process, including White #Wine of Show - Deep Woods Estate Reserve #Chardonnay 2021 & Wine of Show - Arras Museum Release Blanc de Blanc 2001. Red Wine of Show went to Akarua from New Zealand with their Bannockburn #PinotNoir 2020. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 picked up 4 trophies in total.

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 had their best ever performance, collecting 4 trophies including the #Shiraz | #Syrah trophy. The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 also secured 4 trophies and wrestled back the highly competitive #BordeauxBlends trophy from South Africa, who have held this since 2017. 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 finished with 2 trophies and hand tight around the non-Aromatic Trophy with an amazing #CheninBlanc.

Congratulations to House of Arras Museum Release #BlancdeBlanc #Chardonnay 2001, taking out Trophy for Sparkling Wines & Wine of Show; Akarua #Bannockburn #PinotNoir 2020, taking out the Pinot Noir Trophy & Red Wine of Show; and Deep Woods Estate #Reserve Chardonnay 2021, taking our the Chardonnay Trophy & White Wine of Show. Wellington is a wine-producing district in the Western Cape of South Africa, 60 kilometers from Cape Town. The rolling hills and valleys of the area provide a wide range of suitable sites for wine growers where fine, elegant examples of Pinotage and Chenin Blanc are made. 🍷

The Walla Walla Valley is an American Viticultural Area located in Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon. The Valley is a beautiful oasis amid the vast sagebrush desert that rolls across most of America’s northwest interior.

The name Walla Walla means “many waters,” and it highlights the rivers and aquifers that provide so abundantly for those who discover this place with nearly 3,000 acres of prime vineyards and more than 120 remarkable wineries. 🍇

𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 🇨🇦

@flatrockcellars vineyards include 80 acres of chardonnay, pinot noir and riesling. These varieties have been chosen due to them being best suited in the cooler climates of the Niagara Peninsula and more specifically the Twenty Mile Bench.

Paterson, at the age of 28, passed the rigorous Master of Wine (MW) examinations in 2001 on her first attempt and was awarded the prestigious Madame Lily Bollinger Medal for tasting excellence.

Paterson has judged at many international and local wine shows including, but not limited to, the Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge & International Wine and Spirit Competition.

𝗡𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 is home to some of the oldest and most established wine producing vineyards in Canada. 🇨🇦

This also means 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 can be relatively low intervention in the winery and let the quality of the grapes shine.

Therefore it's no surprise then that Margaret River features in the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲.🍷

The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 results are out in both digital downloadable PDF as well as our full colour publication. 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 won Nation of Show and collected 6 trophies in the process, including White #Wine of Show - Deep Woods Estate Reserve #Chardonnay 2021 & Wine of Show - Arras Museum Release Blanc de Blanc 2001. Red Wine of Show went to Akarua from New Zealand with their Bannockburn #PinotNoir 2020. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 picked up 4 trophies in total.

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 had their best ever performance, collecting 4 trophies including the #Shiraz | #Syrah trophy. The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 also secured 4 trophies and wrestled back the highly competitive #BordeauxBlends trophy from South Africa, who have held this since 2017. 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 finished with 2 trophies and hand tight around the non-Aromatic Trophy with an amazing #CheninBlanc.

The Walla Walla Valley is an American Viticultural Area located in Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon. The Valley is a beautiful oasis amid the vast sagebrush desert that rolls across most of America’s northwest interior.

The name Walla Walla means “many waters,” and it highlights the rivers and aquifers that provide so abundantly for those who discover this place with nearly 3,000 acres of prime vineyards and more than 120 remarkable wineries. 🍇

Introducing one of the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 judges, 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 MW, who is one of Australia’s leading wine commentators. 🍷

Paterson, at the age of 28, passed the rigorous Master of Wine (MW) examinations in 2001 on her first attempt and was awarded the prestigious Madame Lily Bollinger Medal for tasting excellence.

Paterson has judged at many international and local wine shows including, but not limited to, the Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge & International Wine and Spirit Competition.

The 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟴 𝟯𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗰

𝗡𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 is home to some of the oldest and most established wine producing vineyards in Canada. 🇨🇦

It produces mainly cool climate varieties of wine such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. 🍇

With 34 wines selected for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿'𝘀 moderate Mediterranean climate and cool maritime influence gives it a strong seasonal consistency between vintages and the ability to achieve perfectly ripe fruit in most years. 🇦🇺

This also means 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 can be relatively low intervention in the winery and let the quality of the grapes shine.

Therefore it's no surprise then that Margaret River features in the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲.🍷
