Our blend of two white grape varieties, Albariño and Verdejo. The only wine of these grapes produced in Canada! Our 11th vintage of Fandango is composed of Albariño (51%) and Verdejo (49%), both estate grown at our Lone Hand Ranch vineyard (Sub GI label). Tough granitic soils of glacial origin characterize the vineyard. Finding fennel, melon and citrus on the nose, with a palate of almond and lime pith amidst a stream of tingling acidity. Harmoniously balanced with a layer of fine texture that creates an attractive weight and a lingering finish. There is plenty of tension here – this vintage is satisfying and refreshing!
