This wine is a selection of our best Syrah barrels from the vintage. With the release of this wine in 2022, we are celebrating Stonecroft’s 40th anniversary with a special label. Black fruit flavours, spice and vanilla are complemented by fine grained tannins. Matured for over 18 months in French oak (60% new). Stonecroft has the oldest Syrah vines in New Zealand with the first vines planted in 1984.

Attractive dark cherry, blackberry dark chocolate aromas with brambly notes. Well concentrated supple dark berry fruits, lovely chocolate and grainy textures, very good mid-palate density and interacted mocha oak notes. Firm finish
