Pale lemon colour. Complex yet quite discrete aromas of ripe nectarine, straw, fresh brioche and cashew nuts prevail. The palate is similarly discrete to start then grows to show the delicious nectarine, ripe citrus, toast and savoury nuttiness of this vineyard, complimented by a lovely creamy texture and seam of fresh lemon zest to finish. Great cellaring potential. Drink now through 2028.

Opens with complex array of gun-flint, struck match noble reduction. Hints of white peach and nectarine. Fresh, crisp and bright, excellent intensity, beautifully integrated oak and attractive creamy textural mouthfeel. Superb length and persistence.

  2. 95

Lovely flinty nectarine, apricot aromas and favours with vanilla and toasty notes. Generous and creamy on the palate with abundant fruits and pronounced new oak. Widely appealing style.

The nose has a classical mix of oak and fruit and the palate is a similar vein. Lovely – though note as complex as some of the other wines on the table.
