The intense aroma profile first expresses hints of freshly-whipped cotton candy or a freshly opened bag of Haribo, but then opens up to a beautiful perfume of honeysuckle balanced with citrus notes of lemon, mandarin orange and lime cordial. As the wine opens up in the glass, layers of aromas continue to evolve, and you may get gentle wafts of white pepper. The palate packs a punch of a ripe citrus bouquet, like fresh squeezed lemons and white grapefruit rounded out with a hint of apple blossoms. While the wine is fresh and mouth-watering, there is incredible balance with a rich viscosity and fatness that preludes the long dry finish. This wine has been made to age and evolve for many years to come. Food Pairings: The first thing that comes to mind is anything with a beurre-blanc sauce. It will also pair well with pork steam buns, chicken tacos and even our Steak Poutine, as the acid will cut through any fat you can throw at it. Explore the elements of ‘Sweet n Sour’ in your culinary adventures!

Opens with aromas of tinned peaches, hints of honey. Medium bodied, phenolics, sour-edged acidity.

Waxy. A touch of oatmeal. Sour finish. Lemon juice flavours on the close.
