The nose is distinctly earthy. Rustic. Savoury. Smells like a much older wine despite being from 2019. Hints of leather.

  2. 93

Classic bouquet of cassis, cedar, cigar box with leafy overtones. Fresh mid-weight, excellent percussion. Cooler climate style with lovely fine-grained tannins, but silage character drying out the wine. Very good length and persistence.

Beautiful blackcurrant, mulberry aromas with roasted chestnut vanilla wax polish notes. Inky deep with blackcurrant fruits, earthy volcanic pumice stone notes, fine grainy leafy tannins. Finishes firm and minerally. Distinctively South African with the voice of the land.
