This Heirloom Vineyards A’Lambra Barossa Valley Shiraz was produced from our best Barossa Valley Shiraz Vineyard whose clones and viticulture embody the very best in cutting edge but old school viticulture and winemaking. Hand tended vines, sorted bunch-by-bunch, naturally open fermented, basket pressed and stored in French oak barriques from bespoke coopers. The palate is velvet. Texture. Tannin. Tannin just in the background providing essential support and structure to the rich and deep fruit flavours. Savoury plums and white chocolate. A long acid finish that stretches this tightly coiled red wine out. Here is the quintessential Barossa Valley shiraz. Flavours run the gamut; eucalyptus to raspberry; blackberry to pepper; olive to plum.

Dark chocolate, dark cherry aromas and flavours, fine chocolaty tannins, some savoury oak notes. Finishes firm and minerally.

  2. 95

Forward and intense bouquet of sun-warmed blackberries. Bright and fresh and juicy, well-articulated fruit, plush mid-palate, good length. Bigger style and well-handled.

  3. 95

Intense red and dark fruit. Cocoa nib. Bold, concentrated and chocolatey.
