In 1999 we planted our first Pinot Blanc vines on Te Muna Road. Considering how idyllic our site is for growing Pinot Noir, it made perfect sense to discover this variety in all its glory! In the winery, we treat the fruit in a similar way to Chardonnay. The wine produced is full-bodied and dry, with subtle aromas of quince and honey as it ages. A great summer aperitif.

Retrained bouquet. Hints of lemon. Crisp and fresh. Sour-edged acidty.

Acetic tones on the nose are a distraction. Though they come into balance as the fruit opens. Delicate pineapple flavours. This wine just keeps getting better in the glass. Tight and lemony.

Lemon curd, rock melon aromas. Supple and creamy textured with ripe yellow fruits, lacy structure and fresh log acidity,
