From a premier vineyard, this exhibits a semi opaque ruby -crimson color and intoxicating aromas of blackberries, black cherries, black plums, crushed black roses, purple lilac, mulberry, sweet pipe tobacco, sandalwood, sweet herbs, anise and spiced incense. The flavors, as well, are dramatic, with layers of thick black fruits that are infused with black licorice, Swiss chocolate, French roast and Mill Creek silty minerals. The allure continues on the back with kirsch and crème de cassis liqueurs, vanillin and pencil shavings, all flowing seamlessly into a lengthy, satiny ripe tannin finish

Gorgeous fruit purity combined with engaging savoury accents. The mid palate has excellent weight and concentration. I love the brightness of the fruit on the finish and the ripe, papery tannin.

Perfumed red currant, red plum bouquet. Medium bodied, elegant with hints of flowers and leafy overtones. Plentiful resolved tannins. Well balanced. Elegant.

Red cherry, red plum, herb garden aromas. Inky deep with attractive red cherry, red plum, mulberry fruits, Fien grainy tannins and savoury oak complexity. Touch of black olive.
