Grown on the lower terrace at Te Muna Road, this wine shows a unique level of texture and complexity. The cooler climate of Martinborough ensures the wine is aromatic with steely minerality while the rocky soils gives intensity of the fruit. Pale lemon straw. Potentially the greatest release of this wine to date. The nose is abundant with kaffir lime leaf and subtle tropical notes. The palate is electric. The hallmark saline acid of Te Muna and a pithiness to the fruit giving succulence and enhanced drinkability.

Opens with ripe peach and mango. Fresh crisp, well articulated fruit, good vibrancy and freshness, lingering persistence. Well balanced.
